It also prevents twisting of the cable, which can loosen the cable penetrator. We recommend securing the tether to the frame in all situations and this is a great way to do it!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe thimble is designed for cables up to 3\/8″ (9.5mm) diameter and the hole through the center is 1″ (25.4mm) diameter.
