The motor stator is encapsulated and electrically isolated from the water and the magnet rotor is coated and made from stainless steel to make it resistant to seawater corrosion. The motor uses high-performance water-lubricated plastic bushings and is water-cooled as water flows through the motor.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe M200 Motor has a base with four M3 mounting holes to secure it in a wide range of applications. The standard version comes with a 1 meter long cable and the BlueBoat version has a shorter cable with pre-installed cable penetrator and an MT60 connector ready to install on the BlueBoat!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA sensorless brushless electronic speed controller (ESC) like our \u003ca href=\"\/products\/besc30-r3\"\u003eBasic ESC\u003c\/a\u003e is required to run the motor in all situations. It’s optimized to run at a voltage of 16V (such as a 4S lithium-ion battery pack), but can run at a range of voltages.
